We're seeking a Senior Technology Lead—a strategic technologist who bridges hands-on excellence with emerging innovation. You'll be driven by technical vision and comfortable leading through influence, scoping complex projects while contributing meaningfully to cutting-edge AI initiatives. This role offers the perfect balance: staying deeply involved in frontend development while guiding teams through evolving challenges, building POCs that push boundaries, and working directly with clients to shape technical strategy.
You'll collaborate closely with Creative, Project Delivery, QA, and DevOps team members while also partnering with clients on proposals and technical requirements. Your leadership experience will be critical—mentoring developers, shaping architectural decisions, and ensuring high standards across projects. You'll bring agency experience and client-facing confidence to the table, helping us deliver innovative, scalable solutions.

You will:
- Lead scoping and architecture of technical solutions, balancing hands-on development with leadership responsibilities (approximately 60% leadership, 40% hands-on coding)
- Provide hands-on frontend development support, particularly in React/TypeScript, while overseeing the development process and leading code reviews
- Champion and contribute to AI initiatives, including development of generative AI assistants and intelligent agents that enhance user experiences
- Build and iterate on POCs, rapidly prototyping solutions that validate technical feasibility and creative concepts
- Mentor and guide developers through technical challenges, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Collaborate iteratively with the Creative team, translating briefs into robust technical solutions and creating prototypes that push technological boundaries
- Partner directly with clients on proposals, technical discussions, and solution design—leveraging agency experience to understand client needs and constraints
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring appropriate standards and processes are maintained across the portfolio
- Work with multiple technologies—web, mobile native, game engines, and full-stack platforms—to deliver functional, production-ready solutions
- Contribute innovative ideas that expand the solution space, introducing novel technology approaches to creative challenges
- Stay current with emerging technologies and AI advancements, rapidly learning new platforms and tools as needed
You have:
- 3+ years’ experience in technology leadership (Tech Lead or comparable role), with demonstrated impact on team and project outcomes
- Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS—able to write production-grade frontend code and set technical standards
- Experience with Python or similar languages, particularly in context of AI/ML applications (a plus)
- Strong understanding of large-scale system architecture and infrastructure considerations
- Proven experience collaborating with Creative and design-focused teams in an agency or fast-paced environment
- Agency experience and comfort with direct client interaction around technical proposals and solution design
- Experience managing development and delivery of commercial websites and digital experiences
- Familiarity with website operations on high-traffic platforms and scalability considerations
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and development pipelines
- Proficiency with Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, GitHub, Confluence, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving approach with meticulous attention to detail
- Natural leadership instincts and ability to mentor others
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical contribution
