With a growing roster of clients across football, fitness, events and apparel, we’re now looking for a Paid Media Director to lead our biddable media function and shape the future of paid performance in the sports space.
The Role
As Paid Media Director, you’ll lead the strategic direction, execution, and innovation of all paid media activity – spanning PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic and emerging platforms. You’ll oversee a talented team of media specialists, drive performance across key campaigns, and be a key figure in both client leadership and new business.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone with deep platform expertise, commercial awareness, and a passion for sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full paid media strategy across all clients – from planning and platform mix to execution and reporting
- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing team of paid media specialists
- Oversee campaign performance across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Programmatic and more
- Collaborate with data, creative and account teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign delivery
- Play a key role in client relationships – pitching strategies, leading QBRs, and advising on budget allocation
- Drive innovation in media approach – testing new formats, platforms, and performance models
- Support in new business opportunities and agency positioning in the sports market
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ experience in paid media, with significant time in a senior or leadership role
- Proven track record in delivering high-performance campaigns across both PPC and Paid Social
- Strong understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.)
- Experience managing teams and mentoring junior to mid-level talent
- Comfortable working with sports clients or audiences – ideally with experience in live events, fan engagement, or DTC
- Strategic thinker who’s also happy to get hands-on when needed
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

- Experience with ticketing, memberships, or merchandise marketing
- Knowledge of CRM, email marketing and cross-channel strategy
- Connections or experience within elite sport, fitness, or fan-based communities
