Role Overview
As Digital Account Director – Performance Marketing, you’ll lead client relationships and strategic planning for paid media campaigns, with a core focus on paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) and PPC (Google Ads, Shopping, YouTube). You’ll own client success, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure all strategies are aligned with business objectives and performance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior client lead across a portfolio of performance marketing accounts.
- Oversee strategy, planning, and execution of paid social and PPC campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, and more.
- Translate client business goals into performance-driven media strategies (e.g., ROAS, CAC, LTV).
- Lead campaign performance analysis and present insights, recommendations, and optimizations.
- Collaborate with media buyers, creatives, and analysts to ensure campaigns meet or exceed performance targets.
- Guide budget planning, pacing, and forecast modeling across accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities and upsell relevant services based on client needs and goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of ecommerce funnels, conversion drivers, and attribution models.
- Support the professional development of Account Managers/Strategists reporting to you.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years focused on performance marketing (paid social and PPC).
- Agency experience working with ecommerce or DTC brands.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable results through Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Shopping), and other platforms.
- Strong grasp of key performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, AOV, LTV) and ability to translate data into strategy.
- Excellent client management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple accounts and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools like GA4, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of ecommerce marketing funnels and customer acquisition strategies.
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or other ecommerce platforms.
- Understanding of creative testing methodologies and landing page CRO.
- Google Ads and/or Meta certifications.
