We're delighted to be supporting a global professional services business based in Manchester city centre, who are looking to add a Graduate Finance Assistant to their experienced finance department as the business continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to forge a career for themselves in finance as you will work closely with the Management Accountants, and will be given the opportunity to continually broaden your skills across all core areas of the team. This business also offers study support for the CIMA and ACCA qualifications. Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

About The Role - Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for a mix of transactional processing and month-end support.

Your Core Responsibilities in the Graduate Finance Assistant Role Will Include:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Managing supplier statements, reconciliations and resolving finance related queries
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger and ensuring timely payments
  • Supporting the Management Accountants with month end related tasks such as accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of month-end journals

  • University Graduate
  • Commercially astute, ambitious and highly intelligent
