Automation And Control Engineer (Extraction Systems)

We are seeking an Automation and Control Engineer for a permanent position with a world leading manufacturer of clean air systems. The company provides extraction solutions to almost every engineering sector including fabrication, woodworking, automotive, waste, pharma and many more. They design, manufacture and install bespoke extraction systems and have been at the forefront of the industry for nearly a century.

Package:

1. Salary up to £60K
2. Company van (for personal use)
3. 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays (increasing with service)
4. Home/field based

Responsibilities:

1. Installation and commissioning of electrical and control systems
2. Carrying out fault finding and servicing

Experience:

1. Familiar with industrial control systems
2. Experience programming PLCs
3. Experience working with HMI products
4. Automation experience
5. Familiar with inverters and their configuration, setting and programming
6. Electronic and electrical competence (qualifications advantageous)
7. Profibus, Profinet and BACnet knowledge preferred

This role may require infrequent travel to Europe but it’s mainly UK based.
