About the Role
We're looking for an experienced SEO & PPC Manager to lead performance marketing activity across a portfolio of ambitious clients. This is a hands-on role combining technical SEO expertise with paid search strategy, helping drive growth through organic and paid channels.
You'll be responsible for developing and executing integrated search strategies, managing client relationships, and delivering measurable results across SEO and Google Ads campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO (60%)
- Develop and implement SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage on-page optimisation including metadata, internal linking, and site architecture.
- Oversee backlink strategies and digital PR initiatives.
- Analyse performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Stay up to date with algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends, including AI search developments.
- PPC (40%)
- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Display.
- Monitor budgets, bids, and campaign performance to maximise ROI.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, and audience targeting.
- Implement testing strategies across creatives, landing pages, and campaign structures.
- Produce performance reports and actionable insights.
- Track conversions and ensure accurate attribution across campaigns.
- Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Present strategies, recommendations, and performance updates.
- Build strong relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with content, creative, and development teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
Requirements
- Essential
- 3+ years' experience in SEO and PPC management.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Experience working within a digital marketing agency.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with Ecommerce clients.
- Knowledge of AI-driven search and emerging search technologies.
- Experience managing SEO content strategies.
- Google Ads certifications.
