The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing Paid Social strategy, performance and innovation across a portfolio of retail and ecommerce clients. You will lead a team of Paid Social specialists, act as the senior strategic contact for key clients, and work closely with agency leadership to drive growth, develop new opportunities and ensure exceptional campaign delivery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and other emerging platforms, combined with strong commercial and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and lead the agency's Paid Social strategy and service offering.
    • Develop innovative campaign approaches that drive measurable business outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to improve performance through testing, automation and platform innovation.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform developments and emerging technologies.
  • Client Leadership
    • Act as senior strategic lead for key retail and ecommerce accounts.
    • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
    • Lead strategic planning sessions, campaign reviews and performance discussions.
    • Translate business objectives into effective Paid Social strategies.
  • Team Management & Development
    • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Paid Social team.
    • Establish best practices, processes and quality standards.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding and professional development.

  • Performance & Campaign Oversight
    • Oversee campaign planning, execution and optimisation across all Paid Social channels.

  • Commercial Growth
    • Support agency growth through upselling, cross-selling and new business activity.
    • Contribute to pitches, proposals and strategic recommendations.
    • Identify opportunities to expand Paid Social services across existing client accounts.
    • Work closely with agency leadership to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Significant experience within an agency environment

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Experience managing large media budgets and complex campaigns
  • Strong commercial awareness and client management skills
