The Opportunity

Our client, a specialist recruitment and search firm, is hiring a Sales Director to lead and grow its Technology / IT recruitment offering. This role exists because demand has outgrown the current commercial structure. The business needs a senior sales leader who can win new clients, build long-term partnerships, and bring consistency to business development — not someone focused purely on managing legacy accounts. If you’re currently leading sales, carrying a target, and still doing too much hands-on work without real influence, this role gives you clearer ownership and authority.

The Role

  • Own and drive new business across Technology / IT recruitment
  • Win and develop long-term client partnerships
  • Lead senior sales conversations with CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Engineering, and IT leaders
  • Shape commercial strategy, pricing, and sales process with leadership
  • Build and support a high-performing sales function
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure strong client outcomes

This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability.

What Sets This Firm Apart

  • Established presence in Tech / IT recruitment
  • Autonomy and trust at director level
  • Focus on sustainable, long-term client relationships
  • London or remote working
  • Clear progression and long-term incentive potential
  • Straightforward, low-ego culture
  • You’re brought in to build — not to inherit problems.

Who They’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in recruitment sales
  • Strong background in Technology / IT recruitment
  • Track record of winning new business
  • Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
  • Commercial, credible, and delivery-aware
  • This is not a junior leadership role.

What’s On Offer

  • Up to £60,000 base salary (DOE)
  • Commission and performance bonus
  • London or remote working
  • Director-level autonomy and influence
  • Long-term growth opportunity
