Are you a Paid Social leader who can scale accounts, shape strategy, and build high-performing teams? We’re partnering with a fast-growing digital agency in London looking for a Paid Social Director to own the social performance offering and drive growth across a portfolio of e-commerce clients.
This role is equal parts strategy, leadership, and commercial impact.
The RoleAs Paid Social Director, you’ll lead the paid social function, setting best practice, guiding senior managers, and acting as the strategic voice of social across key client relationships. You’ll work closely with founders, client partners, and data teams to scale revenue, improve margins, and elevate paid social as a core growth driver.
- Own and evolve the agency’s paid social strategy across ecommerce clients
- Lead, mentor, and develop Paid Social Managers and Executives
- Set frameworks for testing, creative strategy, audience development, and scaling
- Oversee large budgets and ensure performance targets (ROAS, CPA, LTV) are consistently met
- Act as senior client contact for key accounts, presenting strategy, insights, and growth plans
- Collaborate with creative, CRO, data, and paid search teams to drive full-funnel performance
- Stay ahead of platform changes and ensure the team adapts quickly and effectively
- Contribute to new business pitches, audits, and agency thought leadership
- 5+ years’ experience in paid social, with time spent in a senior or leadership role
- Deep expertise across Meta Ads, TikTok, and performance-driven social platforms
- Strong e-commerce performance knowledge (ROAS, attribution, incrementally, scaling)
- Proven experience leading teams and managing senior client relationships
- Commercial mindset, confident forecasting, scaling spend, and driving profitability
- Strategic thinker who can zoom out, while still understanding execution
- Hybrid working (London office 2–3 days per week)
- Senior leadership role within a fast-scaling agency
- Clear progression into Head of Paid Media / Performance Director level
- Strong culture of experimentation, learning, and autonomy
