A leading UK eCommerce business is hiring a Head of PPC to take ownership of paid search and shopping performance across a large and complex product catalogue. This role is focused on driving revenue and efficiency through Google and Microsoft channels, with responsibility for how campaigns are structured, optimised, and scaled.
As Head of PPC, you will lead all paid search and shopping activity, ensuring campaigns deliver strong commercial performance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be directly involved in campaign management, while also shaping how PPC operates across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Own paid search and shopping performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Define and improve campaign structures to support scale and efficiency
- Oversee how product data is used within campaigns to maximise visibility and results
- Monitor performance closely and make ongoing optimisations
- Align PPC activity with trading priorities such as stock, pricing, and promotions
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve efficiency
- Test new approaches, campaign types, and optimisation strategies
- Ensure tracking, measurement, and reporting are accurate and reliable
- Strong experience in PPC, with a focus on paid search and/or shopping
- Experience managing large or complex eCommerce accounts
- Good understanding of Google Shopping and product data
- Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue and efficiency
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Ads
- Familiarity with feed management tools
- Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4
- Full-time role
- Hybrid: 3 days per week in Manchester office
