This role offers the chance to work with major brands, delivering strategic advice and analytical insights that help organisations maximise the value and effectiveness of their media investments. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading client engagements, managing projects, and translating complex media data into actionable recommendations.

As a Senior Media Consultant, you will lead the delivery of media consulting and analytics projects across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping clients improve media performance, strengthen governance, and optimise investment decisions. You will work closely with clients, agency partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality analysis, insights and recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of media consulting and analytics projects from inception through to final recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior marketing, media and procurement stakeholders.
  • Analyse media investment, pricing, performance and commercial arrangements across multiple channels.
  • Deliver media accountability, benchmarking and effectiveness assessments.
  • Support agency review and pitch processes through commercial, operational and performance analysis.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables and quality standards.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and enhance service delivery.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially minded media professional with a strong understanding of media planning, buying and performance measurement.

Essential Experience

  • Experience gained within a media agency, media consultancy, advertiser organisation or media auditing environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK media planning, buying and trading practices.
  • Experience delivering client-facing projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with media, commercial and performance data.
  • Ability to develop meaningful insights and present recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

  • Expertise across channels including TV, BVOD, CTV, OOH, Radio, Print and Cinema.
  • Working knowledge of digital media platforms, ad technology and auction-based buying environments.
  • Experience supporting agency reviews, media audits, benchmarking exercises or media effectiveness programmes.
  • Exposure to international media markets and global client organisations.
