Senior Technical Consultant - Dynamics

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Technical Services Consultant to join our growing Dynamics Practice.

In this technical, customer-facing role, you'll act as a advisor and technical lead, helping education providers design, implement, integrate, and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions within their business.

Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you'll be responsible for delivering technical implementations, developing integration and migration solutions, and configuring Azure-based services that enable secure and scalable data exchange across platforms. You'll provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from technical discovery through to deployment, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support.

This role requires not only strong technical expertise, but also excellent consultancy and customer engagement skills. You will be able to translate complex business requirements into robust, effective technical solutions.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Tribal offices and customer sites.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the tenhical delivery of Dynamics 365 implementations, upgrades, and improvements for our Education customers.
• Design and manage data migrations into Dynamics 365.
• Build integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems using Microsoft technologies.
• Configure and support Azure services and infrastructure.
• Provide technical advice and solution design support to customers.
• Deliver workshops, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Work closely with consultants, developers, project managers, and customers.
• Produce clear technical documentation and deployment guidance.
• Support internal teams with Dynamics 365, integration, and data management expertise.
• Act as a technical escalation point for customer issues and service improvements.
• Keep up to date with Microsoft technologies and recommend new solutions.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience data migration or integration activities
• Strong technical expertise of Data Transformation Services and Tools ideally within Dynamics solutions but not essential.
• Hands‑on experience delivering complex data migration and systems integration projects, ideally leveraging Azure services and APIs.
• Experience designing, configuring, and supporting Azure-based infrastructure to enable secure, scalable integrations and data exchange.
• The ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and provide trusted technical guidance to customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience delivering workshops, training sessions, and technical presentations.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure.
• Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, or Data Factory.
• Experience within Higher Education, Further Education, or the wider EdTech sector.
