Help us “Elevate Education, Everywhere.” Here at Etio, we are committed to improving education systems at scale. We work with governments and institutions globally to deliver impactful, evidence‑based solutions that strengthen teaching, leadership and outcomes for learners.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced education recruiter to step into a role with real purpose and impact. You will manage your own recruitment activity end‑to‑end, supporting the successful delivery of our programmes by sourcing and placing high‑quality education professionals. While this role offers autonomy and pace, it also provides a balanced environment where quality, relationships and long‑term impact matter just as much as delivery. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and build strong candidate pipelines, ensuring we have the right people in place to support schools, programmes and ultimately learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from briefing through to offer
- Sourcing, screening and placing high‑quality candidates within the education sector
- Building and maintaining strong talent pipelines aligned to current and future contract needs
- Conducting candidate interviews and supporting preparation throughout the hiring process
- Ensuring full compliance across all placements, including DBS, references and right‑to‑work checks
- Delivering a high‑quality experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders
- Supporting recruitment reporting, administration and data management
The Person
We are looking for someone who understands the impact of education recruitment and takes pride in doing it well. You will bring experience in education recruitment, ideally within an agency environment, and be confident managing multiple roles at pace. You build relationships naturally, communicate clearly and take ownership of your work. You are organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment. You care about quality, not just speed, and understand the importance of placing the right people in the right roles.
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in education recruitment, ideally within an agency setting
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end recruitment processes
- Experience managing multiple roles and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, particularly around compliance
- Experience managing candidate pipelines and maintaining accurate data
Desirable
- Experience supporting recruitment for government‑funded or large‑scale education programmes
- Familiarity with ATS systems and talent‑pooling strategies
- Understanding of compliance requirements within education recruitment
- Experience working in a project‑based or contract‑driven environment
How we work
- Make every day count: You focus on what matters, manage your time well and deliver consistently.
- Deliver with empathy: You build trust, communicate with care and understand the needs of candidates and stakeholders.
- Lead the way: You take ownership, show initiative and set high standards in how you work.
Benefits
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, with the option to buy more pro‑rata
- Flexible working culture
- Health and wellbeing support, including healthcare cash plan, private medical insurance and employee assistance programme
- Pension contribution (3% employer, 5% employee)
- Enhanced family‑friendly policies
- Work from anywhere globally for up to 8 weeks
- Paid volunteer day
- Electric car scheme and cycle‑to‑work scheme
