Maytas, Tribal’s learner management and e-portfolio system, is a platform used by training providers, colleges, and employers to manage apprenticeships and learner journeys from start to finish. It streamlines administration, ensures compliance with government and funding regulations, and provides clear visibility of learner progress through integrated reporting and online portals.

The Role: We’re looking for a Junior QA Analyst to join our team to ensure that our product meets defined standards of quality, functionality, and performance before release. The role will be based out of our Lancaster office 2 days per week with 3 working from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing and reviewing Test Plans to ensure software quality is thoroughly assessed at every stage.
  • Executing Test Plans, recording and analysing test results, and identifying any discrepancies or issues.
  • Providing valuable feedback on the suitability of software for release, ensuring it meets all necessary requirements and standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support teams, to resolve defects and improve product quality.
  • Assisting in the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies and processes, offering fresh perspectives and ideas.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field, or proven experience in a QA role within a SaaS (Software as a Service) business environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A curious and inquisitive mindset, always eager to learn and improve processes.
  • It would be great if you had hands-on experience as a QA Analyst.
