The Management and Support Services are the link between finance and the business, acting as trusted advisors, providing valuable insight to ensure the leadership team and the wider business understand and effectively manage financial implications and performance.

The role is Hybrid working 2 days per week in Bristol and 3 from home.

The purpose of the Finance Business Partner role is to provide high‑quality commercial finance support, strategic analysis and forward‑looking insight to drive effective decision‑making and business planning in line with Tribal’s long‑term strategic objectives.

  • Actively monitor monthly P&L performance and KPIs with commercial insight to identify areas for challenge and improvement.
  • Drive the Executive Team in delivering the Group’s annual financial objectives, and play an active and visible role within the relevant Senior Management Team to ensure expectations are understood and they receive high quality support in planning and executing business performance improvements.
  • Collaborating with the commercial and product teams to develop new commercial models, partnership structures or contract schedules, ensuring financial considerations are fully assessed.
  • Prepare the monthly sales pipeline forecast for the financial year and provide support for pricing on bids and management of deal governance.
  • Supporting negotiations for major commercial opportunities by contributing to financial models, scenario analysis and risk assessments.
  • Developing and maintaining strong commercial governance processes, including templates, models and financial evaluation tools.
  • Coaching and supporting teams across the business to strengthen understanding of SaaS commercial models, financial principles and contract terms.
  • Manage product pricing governance, recommending appropriate price changes or pricing for new products as appropriate.
  • Lead on the critical assumptions in the annual budget process, providing challenge and guidance to the Executive Team to ensure targets and assumptions are appropriate.

The skills you’ll need:

  • A relevant accountancy qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or similar)
  • Strong commercial business partnering experience
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, supported by a solid grasp of commercial principles
  • Significant demonstrable experience in financial modelling for pricing, investments and projects
