About the Role
Giffnock Soccer Centre was founded in 1995 and is now Scotland's largest grassroots football club with over 1400 players and a further 200 coaches. As a GSC Coach, you will deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions for participants of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of the coaching team running soccer camps over holiday periods, initially the summer holidays 29th June - 7th August.
- Plan and deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions for young people of all ages related to our coaching curriculum.
- Work together as part of a dedicated team of coaches to ensure the best possible opportunities for all participants.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all parents and participants who attend.
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience through further education or community coaching.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- PVG/Disclosure Scotland clearance.
- SFA 1.1 and 1.2 coaching awards.
