This is a Permanent vacancy. We’re looking for three Regional Pathways Managers to lead and grow player and coach development across our Glasgow North, Edinburgh & Caledonia Midlands regions. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised and passionate about rugby. You’ll play a key role in creating high-quality environments where male and female players and coaches can thrive – from grassroots through to regional talent pathways.

What you will be doing:

  • You’ll lead the planning and delivery of programmes that support both player pathways and coach development across your region.
  • Lead and coordinate regional player pathway programmes (U15–U18).
  • Drive coach development, including courses, workshops and ongoing support.
  • Work closely with clubs and schools to improve talent development environments.
  • Manage and organise programmes involving a wide range of partners and contributors.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure programmes are well planned, organised and delivered to a high standard.
  • Act as the key contact for your region, bringing people together and keeping activity aligned.

This role works with a wide network including clubs, schools, coaches, players, national colleagues and local partners, so clear communication and collaboration are essential to being successful in the role.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’re looking for people who are self-starters – you’ll be trusted to take ownership and make things happen.
  • You’ll bring a genuine passion for developing coaches and player pathways.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in sports development or a performance environment is important, along with an understanding of how players and coaches progress.
  • The ability to plan and deliver programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Confidence building relationships and working with a range of people.
  • Experience supporting or delivering coach development and/or talent programmes.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

This is a chance to:

  • Make a real impact on player and coach development.
  • Work across a varied and dynamic sporting environment.
  • Build meaningful relationships across the game.
  • Shape how regional pathways are delivered, including inter-district and pro-alignment programmes.
