Glasgow Life is looking for a Project & Service Development Officer to join us on a 35 full time, permanent contract. As Project & Service Development Officer you will be joining our in-demand Glasgow Sport service, focusing on project management of service development initiatives and growing our partnerships across a range of sports and with strategic partners.
As Project & Service Development Officer, you will be an integral part of the team by leading on the project management of service development initiatives and partnerships. You will lead and oversee the coordination of Glasgow Sport's capital and infrastructure investment programme and play a pivotal role in managing the governance structure necessary to deliver Glasgow Sport's vision for service development and reinvestment, aiming to enhance income generation while supporting social agendas, including addressing health inequalities. Reporting to our Commercial and Service Development Manager and collaborating with an established team.
The candidate:
- Relevant project management qualification or experience in project management, preferably within the Leisure industry.
- The experience to drive and expand the commercial focus of Glasgow Sport, identifying and prioritising opportunities for new income streams.
- Experience of planning complex projects taking account of multiple funding sources and stakeholders and effectively reporting progress, risks and issues.
- Experience of contract tendering and procurement experience.
- Effective planning, coordination, problem solving and organisational skills.
