Live Active Leisure, in partnership with sportscotland and Perth and Kinross Council, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Active Schools team. The aim of the Active Schools Network is to work closely with key partners to provide high-quality opportunities for children and young people to take part in sport and physical activity. Our mission is also to create strong leadership and volunteering opportunities and pathways through sport and physical activity.

A key focus for the team is breaking down barriers and being creative in how we engage with children and young people who would benefit most from opportunities to be physically active. You will have extensive experience of engaging with children and young people within education, sport, health, community, leisure and/or recreation settings, along with experience of managing and working with volunteers.

This is an important appointment, supporting existing programmes while also developing new opportunities to increase both the number and diversity of primary and secondary school pupils who regularly participate in accessible, safe, and enjoyable sport and physical activity. You should be degree-qualified or have equivalent experience, and be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the aims of the Active Schools Network. Excellent communication skills are essential.
