Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (August 2026 to April 2027)

Β£27,319 per year (pro rata)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sports Coordinator to support the growth and success of our vibrant sports community on the Glasgow Campus. The role involves supporting sports clubs, empowering student volunteers, coordinating fixtures, and helping to deliver an outstanding extracurricular experience for students.

Key responsibilities

  • Support sports clubs and student volunteers across the campus.
  • Coordinate fixtures and sporting events.
  • Deliver outstanding extracurricular experiences for students.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience volunteering within a sports club or leading a sports team.
  • Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing student sport.
  • Positive, welcoming and can-do attitude.
  • A relevant degree, qualification or certification in sport is an advantage but not essential.

Employees receive 46 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and have access to enhanced benefits and policies to support wellbeing, care responsibilities and flexible working. The role is suitable for a recent graduate. You may work from home at least one day per week during teaching weeks and two days outside of teaching weeks.
