To help us achieve that, we are looking for a Health & Fitness Co-ordinator to join our Health & Fitness Team. Our teams focus on making a real difference through culture and sport in Glasgow. What you’ll do
As a Health & Fitness Co-ordinator, you’ll be a part of an established Health & Fitness Team, reporting to the Fitness Team & Retention Manager. The Health and Fitness Co-ordinator has a strategic role in the development and promotion of health, well‑being and fitness. As an integral member of the citywide health and fitness team and the localized facility management team you will be responsible for:
- Developing new business opportunities
- Assisting in creating health and fitness retention strategies
- Managing, developing, and mentoring your gym instructor team and fitness class programme
Your key role is to ensure high standards of staff performance, assist with achieving income targets and member retention growth, and ensure safe and effective operational management of a fitness suite. You will be expected to assist in the development of health and fitness in all spheres of business as appropriate. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:
- Supporting our communities
- Creating cultural experiences
- Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen
Who you are

- Educated to HND level or equivalent in a Health and Fitness or Sport Discipline
- Experience in the operation and development of a health and fitness programme with a customer‑focused ethos
- Leadership and supervisory experience with ability to lead and motivate a team of people
- Group Fitness Management Experience
