We're currently recruiting Swimming Teachers across the Falkirk area. Are you passionate about helping others learn to swim and looking to begin your journey as a swim teacher? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved.
We're currently recruiting Swimming Teachers to deliver The Scottish Swimming National Framework across the Falkirk area. You’ll have access to a fully funded SSTQ (Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification), giving you everything you need to start teaching with confidence.
Who is this course for? This role is ideal for anyone new to swim teaching who wants flexible or part-time work, enjoys supporting learners of all ages, and is looking for a meaningful way to make a positive impact in their community.
The SSTQ course combines course theory and practical, self-learning and coursework, shadowing in our current programme, and regular communication with the course tutor and swimming development team.
Candidates are expected to:
- Attend all scheduled training days, workshops, and assessments
- Complete pre-course reading, online modules, or e-learning as required
- Meet deadlines for assignments, reflections, or logbook entries
- Be punctual, prepared, and engaged in each session
