Reporting to: Women's First Team Head Coach
Purpose: We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable Volunteer Women's Goalkeeping Coach to join our growing Women's First Team Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a progressive football environment focused on player development, performance and long-term success. This voluntary role is ideal for a coach looking to gain experience within a structured club environment while making a meaningful impact in the women's game.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high quality, position specific goalkeeping sessions aligned with the club's playing philosophy.
- Provide matchday support, including warm ups, in game observation and post-match feedback.
- Develop and implement individual performance and development plans for goalkeepers.
- Analyse performances and provide constructive technical and tactical feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and wider staff to support team tactical objectives.
- Assist with set piece organisation, particularly defensive structures.
- Contribute to the development and organisation of the defensive unit.
What we are looking for:
- A passionate and driven individual with a keen interest in goalkeeper development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver structured coaching sessions.
- Understanding of modern goalkeeping techniques and tactical requirements.
- A team player with a positive proactive approach.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or working toward are advantageous.
Commitment Required:
- Attendance at two evening training sessions per week at Foundation Park.
- Availability for Sunday matchdays.
- Willingness to engage in occasional planning and review work outside of sessions.
