An exciting time for our Sport & Leisure service which meets the needs of Midlothian residents to enable them to be physically active, providing a positive & safe environment & varied programme of opportunities to be active. It also meets the needs of Sport & Leisure staff, providing them with a positive working environment, feeling valued, supported and with opportunities to develop.

In partnership with sportscotland, Midlothian Council are looking to recruit a Club Development Officer to work with the Development Team to plan, develop and deliver inclusive, innovative & exciting opportunities in physical activity and sport. The successful candidate will develop strong, sustainable, safe and inclusive sports clubs that support local communities and provide a pathway for people to participate, progress and go on to achieve in sport.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, well organised and motivated officer with the ability to create and develop effective relationships, communicating with and directly influencing a broad spectrum of internal and external partners. This is a new role and a great opportunity to make an impact.
