Location: Tynecastle Park, Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2NL, Oriam - Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre, Edinburgh, EH14 4AS, and away fixture venues.

Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent employee benefits.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5/7 days per week. Evening and weekend work will be required, as per the needs of the football training and fixture schedule.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Lead to join our Marketing Team, on a full-time basis. The Content Lead will take ownership of our content output, focusing on creating current, engaging and fresh content ideas. You will work as part of our collaborative and supportive Marketing Team, with opportunities for personal and professional growth, and have access to unforgettable football memories.

If you have previous sports videography and content creation experience, understanding of graphic design tools and ability to create motion graphics – we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the production and development of the club’s content plan, ensuring our output meets current trends, engages a wide audience, and is continuously refreshed.
  • Create high quality, captivating video content to showcase the First Team, match highlights, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Provide videography support at home and away matchdays, training sessions and any other First Team related events.
  • Admin responsibilities across all the club’s social channels, ensuring to post in line with existing tone, brand and platform guidelines.
  • Offer support and guidance to videographers within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Professional Football Department, with a focus on building trust to allow access to First Team coaches, players and staff for content creation purposes.
  • Grow our Hearts TV audience and revenues, through conceptualising and delivering new long and short form content ideas.
  • Confident in interviewing First Team coaches and players, to ensure engaging and detailed interviews for our audience.
  • Involvement in the creation of commercial partner content in collaboration with the Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative campaigns for seasonal projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sports videography and content creation.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to create motion graphics (Adobe After Effects).
  • A passion for football and an understanding of the game.
  • A keen eye for detail and storytelling through visuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with departments across the Club.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with weekly working patterns due to the nature of the business.
  • Able to evidence the Legal Right to Work in the UK.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
