In order to strengthen our support for sports clubs and improve the contribution that sport and physical activity has on the community, liveArgyll in partnership with sportscotland wish to appoint to the above post.

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who is keen to put sports clubs front and centre of their communities. The Club & Community Sports Officer will work with clubs, supporting them to be:

  • Strong Clubs that are embedded in their local communities, offering quality opportunities and contributing to Scotland’s sporting system.
  • Safe Clubs that provide safe environments for participants to thrive, particularly children and vulnerable groups.
  • Sustainable Clubs that are supported to access funding, grow membership, and develop volunteers & coaches.
  • Inclusive Clubs that create an inclusive environment where more diverse people can participate, progress and achieve in sport.
