South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, Development Services are looking for enthusiastic Lead Sport Coaches to deliver a variety of programmes for primary aged children in our facilities. The activities will include gymnastics, netball, football and multisport as well as sessions for children with additional support needs. Successful candidates must also attend all specific training as required.
Applicants will be selected to attend a compulsory recruitment event on a date to be confirmed. The event will consist of some session delivery relating to the above criteria. Second stage candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview later in the day. All successful candidates will be expected to apply for PVG Scheme registration and complete relevant induction before commencing in any paid work.
Requirements
- Sport Qualifications: Scottish FA 1.1 UKCC Level 1 or equivalent linked to SVQ Framework and/or HNC Childcare or equivalent experience.
