We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Goods In and Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transport operations and logistics, with a focus on yard management. The candidate will ensure that all outgoing and incoming deliveries are made on time and as efficiently as possible, maintaining delivery schedules and tracking deliveries.
This is a fast-paced role, with an element of customer facing, so the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently is key.
Objectives:- Optimise transportation of Ibstock products by planning and scheduling deliveries within agreed service levels and in the most efficient way possible.
- Lead the quarterly stock take of finished goods.
- Provide information on delivery scheduling to customers and internal customer service teams.
- Ensure that load scheduling software is accurate and up to date.
- Print and organise loading team daily schedules, book in drivers and provide drawings where necessary.
- Proactively support and enhance the one-team mentality approach with the Customer Service team, other commercial support functions and production.
- Manage goods-in receipting.
- Support other operational leaders onsite with other day-to-day duties as required.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Previous knowledge of working as a goods in and out coordinator/administrator.
- Strong time management.

- Excellent listening and questioning abilities.
- A professional and proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of Windows based IT systems.

- Strong IT skills (understanding of JDE preferable).
