Triangle Recruitment is working in partnership with a renowned Logistics and Warehousing organisation to find Warehouse Operators/FLT Drivers, working Monday to Friday 6:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 on rotating shifts at their site in Oldbury.
About the role: This is a long-term role with the opportunity to work with our client in partnership with a high spec vehicle manufacturer where safety, quality, and attention to detail will be your main focus.
Key Responsibilities:- Safe and Efficient Forklift Operation: Moving, loading, and unloading goods, using various forklift types, always ensuring the safety of self and others.
- Order Picking: Collecting goods from designated areas and preparing them for despatch in a safe and timely manner using scanners.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, stock takes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Materials Handling: Assisting in the safe & efficient movement of materials within the warehouse using the company's WMS and various MHE.
- Goods in and Goods out: Assisting in the safe & efficient receipt and despatch of goods using the company's WMS and various MHE.
- Warehouse Organisation: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Checking forklift equipment for faults and reporting any issues.
- Adherence to Regulations: Following health and safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
- Communication, Co-operation, and Teamwork: Communicating with team members and adhering to instructions from Shift Managers. Co-operating with the various other departments within the warehouse.
- Valid In date Forklift Truck Licence.
- Experience operating Counter Balance forklifts.
- Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks and lifting.
