Triangle Recruitment, working in partnership with Ibstock Concrete Division, are looking to recruit a couple of Side Loader Forklift Drivers for a manufacturing facility producing concrete floor beams. The role of the Side Loader Forklift Driver is to ensure the factory unit is run effectively and efficiently, using all time wisely and working effectively.
Working hours: Start from 5am Monday to Friday (No PUBLIC TRANSPORT AVAILABLE). Overtime is available at Premium Rates and a Quarterly Bonus Scheme is included, although flexibility will be required. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.
The role does involve Manual Handling, involving the use of a Side Loader truck. Full Training and daily team briefs will be given to all. Previous Side Loader Driver experience is essential, but any Forklift experience will be suitable for training.
Starting salary: £13.44 rising to £15.55
Duties Include:
- Operate a side loader forklift to safely transport long or bulky materials.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, storage areas, and production lines.
- Move materials efficiently within the warehouse or yard while maintaining safety standards.
- Stack and store items in designated locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
