Triangle Recruitment, working in partnership with Ibstock Concrete Division, are looking to recruit Production Operatives for a manufacturing facility producing concrete floor beams. The role of the Production Operative is to ensure the factory unit is run effectively and efficiently.
Working hours: Start from 5am Monday to Friday (No public transport available). Overtime is available at premium rates and a quarterly bonus scheme is included, although flexibility will be required. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.
The role does involve manual handling, involving the use of mechanical lifting aids. Full training and daily team briefs will be given to all. Previous machinery experience is essential.
Starting salary is £12.60.
Duties Include:
- Sub-assembly of concrete products and steel rebar.
- Removing and stacking of finished concrete products.
- Loading concrete and steel into moulds and machines.
- Machine operating.
- Working as part of a team.
- Quality checks.
- Completing production paperwork.
- Use 5S principles to keep work areas clean.
