Triangle Recruitment, working in partnership with a renowned Logistics and Warehousing organisation, is looking for a P.I. Stock Analyst, working Monday to Friday on a Rotating Shift Pattern of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual with experience in PI & stock management to join our fast-paced operation. P.I. Stock Analyst is a new role, so you will have the opportunity to take real ownership of your role, bring fresh ideas to the table, and make a genuine impact in a forward-thinking logistics environment.

Job Summary

  • To ensure stock integrity across all clients' contracts.
  • To ensure a high level of stock accuracy.
  • Understanding of key reports based on stock balances and historical trend adjustments made previously.
  • To prepare customers' seasonal stock takes.
  • Provide Planners with daily count reports.
  • Investigate and feedback stock discrepancies.
  • Implement Warehouse Count Matrix.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse management system.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist with any logistics queries or escalations where required.
  • Process incoming deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders.
  • Organise and store inventory efficiently, ensuring proper labelling and accessibility.
  • Prepare and stage outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate action.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
  • Generate regular inventory reports and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure quality control is maintained throughout all processes where stock is handled.
  • Requirement to ensure best practice and stock controls are followed and enforced in external locations (this may include visits).
  • Any other reasonable logistics-related tasks, including involvement with project rollouts.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of transport or logistics operations.
  • Valid FLT driving licence is required.
