We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role will be on a Day Shift 06:00 - 18:00, 4 on/4 off. The Operative will be working on delivering production targets, operating site equipment, stacking pallets, and conducting quality checks on complete products (bricks). Long-term contracts are available depending on performance, punctuality, and timekeeping. Please note: must have transport to get to site. Full training is given. Full PPE and workwear are provided.
Duties include:
- Take ownership of your work and support the team.
- Organise and prioritise your daily tasks.
- Operate machinery safely when needed.
- Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Support improvement projects and assist production when required.
- Keep your work area clean and well-organised.
- Help update workplace procedures and risk assessments.
- Machine Operating.
- Cleaning Plant at the end of shifts.
- Quality Checks.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and flexibility.
- Self-motivated.
- Numerate & literate.
- Team working attitude.
- Ability to also work alone.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High degree of health & safety awareness.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
- Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
- Willingness to undergo further training and development.
- Previous labour-intensive role.

The hourly rate is £12.71, shift allowance plus production bonus (depending on how well the factory runs). Overtime available.
