Triangle Recruitment, working in partnership with Ibstock PLC, are looking to recruit Production Operatives due to an increase in production volumes. The role will ensure all machines, equipment and the factory floor are kept in a clean state following the cessation of production. Working as part of a small team, full training is given. This is a hands-on role.
Hours of work are 06:00am - 18:00pm, 5 Days On/5 Days Off/5 Days On/5 Days Off/4 Days On/4 Days Off. Temp to perm option for the right candidates.
Key responsibilities:- Pack finished products
- Quality control
- Ability to take ownership of the role
- Hands-on cleaning of machinery and plant
- Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload
- Greasing and oiling of production plant
- Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
- Assist with production when required
- Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
- Assist in the development of SSOP's and risk assessments
- Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
- Self-motivated
- Numerate & literate
- Team working attitude
- Ability to also work alone
- Excellent communication skills
- High degree of health & safety awareness
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
- Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
- Previous labour-intensive role
- Cleaning of all equipment and factory floors
Starting salary is £12.21 with a weekly shift allowance of £89.45 and a weekly bonus from £65.45.
