HGV 2 drivers required to work for local authority in the Islington area in the refuse department. Previous experience driving refuse trucks desirable but not essential. Role requires candidates to drive a refuse truck to collect from both residential and business addresses and some loading will also be required. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm with the possibility of overtime. Rates start from £19.90 per hour and upwards depending on the role, overtime is paid at time and a half and double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays. Candidates should be physically fit and must hold a current drivers licence with HGV entitlement, a digital tacho and a current CPC.
