Triangle Recruitment is looking to recruit Production Operatives to work for a leading UK-based manufacturer of concrete fencing products in Bedford. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Production Operative to join our concrete manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, supporting the manufacture of high-quality concrete products while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Working hours are: Monday to Friday 6:00 till 15:30. No public transport to get to site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and supporting concrete production machinery and equipment
- Assisting with the mixing, casting, curing, and finishing of concrete products
- Carrying out manual handling tasks in line with safe systems of work
- Conducting basic quality checks to ensure products meet specification
- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and well organised (5S / housekeeping)
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and site rules at all times
- Working effectively as part of a production team to meet daily output targets
What We're Looking For
- Ideally previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or construction or similar environment (concrete experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong awareness of health and safety in an industrial setting
- A good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts as required
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions accurately
