We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role will be on a fixed Afternoon Shift 14:00 - 22:00, but will require a 3 week Training Period on a Day Shift 06:00 - 14:00.

The Operative will be working on delivering production targets, operating site equipment, stacking pallets, and conducting quality checks on complete products (bricks). Long-term contracts are available depending on performance, punctuality, and timekeeping.

Please note: must have transport to get to site. Full training is given. Full PPE and workwear is provided.

Duties include:

  • Take ownership of your work and support the team.
  • Organise and prioritise your daily tasks.
  • Operate machinery safely when needed.
  • Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
  • Support improvement projects and assist production when required.
  • Keep your work area clean and well-organised.
  • Help update workplace procedures and risk assessments.
  • Machine operating and cleaning plant at the end of shifts.
  • Quality checks.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and flexibility.
  • Self-motivated, numerate, and literate.
  • Team working attitude with the ability to also work alone.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High degree of health & safety awareness.
  • Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development.
  • Previous labour-intensive role.

Desirable qualifications & experience:

  • Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
  • A recognised up-skill.

The hourly rate is £12.71 plus production bonus up to £100 per week (depending on how well the factory runs).
