Triangle Recruitment are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, on a Temp to Perm basis. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate a professional approach to their work, and have a genuine can-do attitude towards their responsibilities. While experience is essential, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
- Sewing a range of materials to required specifications
- Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and overlocking
- Ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship
- Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role
- Experience with: Twin needle machines, Top sewing, Flat sewing, Overlock machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
- Good timekeeping and reliability
