Triangle Recruitment is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Yard Team Leader to join our client's busy brick manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee day-to-day yard operations, ensuring products are handled safely, efficiently, and ready for dispatch. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am till 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate yard staff and daily workloads
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, and storage of bricks and materials
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across the yard
- Operate machinery such as forklifts (need to have a current license)
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Liaise with production and transport teams to meet deadlines
- Train and support team members to improve performance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Forklift licence
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
