We are seeking a kind and dedicated practitioner to join our childcare’s day nursery in Triangle, Halifax. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through activities and personal care.

Duties

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
  • Carry out necessary cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood education standards.

Requirements

  • Some knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education; additional training will be provided.
  • Innate kindness to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Qualifications such as Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are welcomed but not necessary.
