We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who’s ambitious, driven, and ready to progress quickly within a high-growth Finance team.
What you’ll do:- Take ownership of day-to-day finance activity, ensuring key accounting entries and controls are maintained to a high standard.
- Keep group accounts running smoothly by supporting month-end routines and contributing to a fast, accurate close.
- Play a hands-on role in improving finance processes, tightening controls and strengthening financial insight.
- Handle core compliance activity, including VAT/CIS and ensure a strong accounting framework is maintained.
- Act as an important link during audits, preparing clean information and supporting efficient reviews.
- Support payroll accuracy and ensure the finance team has reliable data flowing into the accounts.
- Get involved in systems and automation projects, helping the finance function scale with the business.
- Practice experience is essential – ideally with audit exposure, and a solid understanding of professional accounting standards.
- Studying toward ACCA/CIMA or another recognised accounting qualification.
