Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a long standing client, a well-respected Cornish services business to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance function based in Truro. The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, and will be based at the company’s prestigious headquarters.

The role works as part of a highly experienced, friendly, and organised team and the successful candidate will benefit from exceptional training, development and future prospects for progression.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Creating and sending of sales ledger invoices
  • Maintenance of accounts receivable queries via email and telephone
  • Entering invoice details to accounting systems via the company’s bespoke accounting system
  • Processing card payments
  • Supply monthly statements
  • Aged debtor management
  • Reporting of monthly reconciliations

For this role we’re looking for a candidate with at least 12 months of recently gained experience within a finance department, ideally with a focus on accounts payable or receivable. Candidates may be part/fully AAT or consider themselves to be qualified by experience. Experience of a range of digital accounting systems would be desirable though not essential. The role works within a fast paced, team spirited department and the successful candidate will require excellent organisational and communication skills.
