A growing organisation is looking for an experienced Part-time Finance Assistant to support their day-to-day finance and accounts operation, in a newly created role.
Responsibilities
- Managing purchase invoices, payment runs and general accounts administration
- Posting transactions, weekly bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate finance records
- Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control
- Assisting with payroll, pensions, VAT returns and month/year-end tasks
- Keeping accounts tidy, compliant and audit-ready
- Working confidently with senior leadership and engaging with the public when needed
- Adapting to a fast-moving workload and supporting the manager with flexible day-to-day finance tasks
Qualifications
- Strong experience in finance or accounts roles
- A self-starter who’s organised, adaptable and comfortable switching tasks
- Confident working independently and dealing with senior leaders
- Someone who values variety and enjoys being a key support in a small team
