Assistant Management Accountant - Plymouth / Hybrid β Up to Β£40,000 β Full time β Permanent
If you're a part qualified or qualified accountant looking for a role with real variety and the opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and growing organisation, this could be a fantastic opportunity.
I'm working with a well established and high profile organisation based in Plymouth that is centralising its finance function and looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
- This is a broad and varied role covering two distinct areas of responsibility, including:
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts, month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting across a number of entities within the group.
- Transactional finance duties encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice reconciliation and payroll, with the expectation of developing into a more analytical and reporting focused remit over time.
The ideal candidate will be part qualified or qualified by experience, with AAT Level 4 as a minimum.
Those studying towards or holding a full CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification are equally encouraged to apply.
You'll be comfortable working across both transactional and management accounting duties, with a methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast paced environment.
Payroll experience would be a distinct advantage.
This is a genuinely exciting time to be joining this organisation.
With a finance centralisation underway and a clear strategic vision from the leadership team, there is real scope for the right person to grow their responsibilities and develop their career over the long term.
If you're looking for a role where your contribution will be visible and valued, I'd encourage you to apply.
