This role works with an award-winning market leader in their field. The company is a designer, manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of precision consumer equipment that sets them apart from the competition. They supply their goods to some of the largest commercial and not-for-profit organisations in the UK.
We are seeking a Finance Manager to create a high-performance, ultra-efficient function within this fast-growing family business. The role is offered on a flexible part-time working arrangement of 30 hours per week, to be agreed to suit the successful candidate.
This is a pivotal position in the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role entails the efficient running of the company’s day-to-day account procedures and systems, along with project-based elements including system improvements. You’ll be supported by an experienced Accounts Assistant and will have autonomy to develop your department to ensure it operates as efficiently as the products produced by the company.
The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or retail, with experience in “end-to-end” finance. Candidates may be part/fully professionally qualified or possess the required experience. You should have excellent attention to detail, all-round IT experience (including MS Excel and ideally Sage-based systems), and strong commercial awareness.
