Newly Qualified Accountant -West Cornwall

A great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a broad, commercially-focused role within a growing company.

This position sits at the heart of the finance team, supporting day-to-day performance, month-end routines and longer?term planning activity.

It’s a role with plenty of visibility, variety and genuine scope to develop.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across finance and operations, helping to build accurate cost information, understand site performance and support decision making.

Typical responsibilities will include management reporting, cost and margin analysis, inventory and stock controls, balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation and supporting the month-end close.

You’ll also contribute to forecasting cycles, operational variance reviews and ongoing improvements to systems, processes and reporting routines.

This role would suit a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) who enjoys getting under the skin of how a business works.

Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach and confidence working with stakeholders at different levels will be important.

Attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn are key here, sector experience is helpful but not essential.
