Finance Systems Technician

This is a finance role with a twist. The post holder will work very closely with customers, typically finance leaders operating at FC, FD, and Head of Finance level. You\’ll receive the training to become an accomplished guru in the efficient use of the software and that, combined with your pre-existing knowledge of the day to day operations of a typical finance team, will allow you to offer tailored support to clients that require technical assistance. Please note that this is not a call centre environment. The Finance Systems Technician will build a strong rapport with a handful of major clients. You’ll develop a strong understanding of their business model, their accounting operations and will likely be on a first name basis with their system users.

What we’re looking for: An enthusiastic individual with at least 2 years of experience working at least an Accounts Assistant level in any sector. You should have a solid understanding of the main accounting principles and an understanding of the finance lifecycle. The company provides bespoke, sector-specific software and while previous experience won’t be required, some experience of working with modern accounting systems and an aptitude for picking up new applications will be essential.
