A well-established firm in Exeter is looking to recruit an Accounts and Audit Senior. Renowned for its commitment to both client service and staff development, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice accountant looking to take the next step in their career.
As an Accounts and Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering external audit assignments from initial planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts for a broad portfolio of clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact
- Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior members of the team
- Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver a high-quality service across both audit and accounts
The successful Accounts and Audit Senior candidate will:
- Ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification, with previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
- Have a solid grounding in both audit and accounts preparation, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload while maintaining high technical standards.
- Previous experience across both disciplines within practice will be essential.
