Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a new and unique client, a successful business operating as part of a large multinational group, who seek to recruit a Temporary Assistant Accountant to support their finance function. This opportunity is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis and will be based onsite in Umberleigh for an initial 6-8 week assignment. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can quickly integrate into an established team and provide immediate support across day-to-day finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cashiering and daily banking processes
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Account reconciliations
  • Preparing and processing supplier payments
  • Payroll administration support
  • Assisting with general transactional finance duties
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

We’re looking for a capable and reliable Assistant Accountant with recent experience in a similar role who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Candidates may be part-qualified, qualified by experience, or simply possess strong all-round finance skills gained within a busy accounts environment. This role would suit someone practical, hands-on and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
