Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a repeat client, a very rapidly expanding manufacturing services business based in St. Austell. The company seeks to recruit a Credit Controller to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will principally be based in St. Austell, but with definite scope for hybrid/flexible working following completion of probation. Reporting into their Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a lead role in ensuring sales are converted to profit through proactive communication with customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing credit applications, setting credit limits and assessing credit risk
  • Effectively communicating information both internally and externally
  • Proactively following up arrears
  • Assisting with month end processes where required
  • Assisting the Credit Control Team Leader as required

For this role our client is focused on sourcing a candidate who possesses a minimum of 12 months of recently gained experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to use MS Excel effectively and possess a strong all-round IT aptitude. The role works within a friendly, busy and switched-on team and would be well suited to an outgoing and communicative individual, with a strong desire to progress.
